This blog is about my constant struggle to be a working artist on a tight budget and on limited time. Artists come a dime a dozen and I'm not the only person with the dream about making it. As I continue on my journey to being a full time artist instead of a part time one, I get inspired constantly by my surroundings and make it a point to draw every day.
I love robots, snoballs, pictures of animals in suits and anything relating to Frida Kahlo. She is my idol.
On my bucket list of things to do in my life is to pet a whale. I love blue whales. The only massive mammal I've gotten to pet is an elephant.
It's my idiosyncrasies that my friends and family appreciate. I'm entertaining to say the least.
I live with my furry feline companion Chi Chi. He's a nine year old stubborn furball who is constantly at my feet while I create. He likes sleeping, eating and laying by the window.
I am a space cadet with an open heart and an open mind. I have never closed the door to my imagination despite being told to "act my age". haha I love to travel and go on as many new adventures as I can. I've lived in Boston, DC, Brooklyn and now back to Virginia. I am the gypsy in my family. If you ask me " Hey Z! Let's hang out and do something" My usual response is "Hell yeah! I'm on that train to FUN!" This blog is a working progress that will have my current art in progress, daily inspirations and my travels.
