Work in Progress

This will be the third painting on this particular canvas. It was given to me last year and every image I've painted on it has not been right. So I've gone over it with gesso and I'm working on it all over again.
I enjoy the process sometimes a lot more than the end result. The initial idea isn't always strong enough to hold up and as much as you want to stick to that one idea - you just have to let it go and see what comes up in the end.

Two sides that shared a path for a spell or two. A connection is only still felt by one side and they must learn to get off that long gone path and venture onto a new one. Or so is my first few thoughts for this painting. We'll see how it goes...
